Default 1967 396 A/T Loaded, Custom Coupe Caprice 4 sale.

It is with much sadness I am putting up the Caprice for sale..I bought a ’68 Camaro the other day and had planned to resell it, but after getting it home and really looking it over closely it’s a keeper.

I need to take some better pics of the car.. the only ones I have are from the day I brought it home this last spring. It has been in storage since.

1967 Custom Coupe Caprice
-396, 325 h.p. Original motor it was born with from GM, Vin and Codes very clear on Block
-T-400 Auto
-12 bolt posi
-PS, A/C, Power Windows. PDB 4 piston calipers
11B car, Factory Black, Deluxe Strato Int, Deluxe belts.

Present cond of car is it was pulled apart for a very good repaint it was painted black and rubbed out..it then sat in the garage where it shared the space with the kids..bad combination!!! There are a few really nasty scratches to bare metal from bike handlebars?? I assume??? The scratches need to be filled and the best plan would be to reshoot the car..it would be easy at this point as most all the chrome is still off the car. I will link the post of when I bought it, this car is very straight and for a big car like this it took some talent, the chrome mounting holes for the vinyl top are filled and to be honest I think they look way better without the vinyl top..the chrome is there if you have to stick it on.

The Motor is rebuilt and sounds a feels very nice. It has a little lope at idle and revs and drives nice.

Interior needs seat covers, carpet, dash pad, package tray, I think the door panels are ok but are fabric and need to cleaned with steam??? To get them looking good again they are dusty from sitting.

The car will go back together easily after fresh paint..I have all the parts bagged

I have no paperwork on the car..The truck driver after his divorce vanished and I could not track his ex wife either…. …these cars are starting to take off in value and this car is an excellent example to have due to the original color and options, I will video the car shortly..kinda tough as it’s mothballed in the other shop with blankets on the hood and roof with all the trim and misc parts laid out for inventory..This car is apart but very complete I made sure of that with a very nice 4 dr donor car this summer.

9K obo….car needs a new home yesterday, very motivated seller cash talks.
Car located in Seattle/Bothell Wa, clear Wa title on car.

It would be alot easier to see the broach marks if you scraped off that paint. It is supposed to be bare metal anyway.

I know..it was a request and I was not prepared to carefully box up all the parts laid out on the hood..the pics suck I know..I had to hold open the hood a little with one hand and try to guess on camera angle..I will get my act together in the next few days if the weather breakes and get some good pics and a vid of the car..winter has set in on us early and its been raining almost non stop for two weeks.. needed to get a line in the water now.

Bud.
