How about this in Scottsdale AZ? 123679N624691, now a BB/automatic. Very carefully worded ad.

I see that the VIN number has 12367... in one place, and 12467 in another. As for being an original BB car, isnt the heater hoses in the correct place for a BB or did all 69's have the hoses that far over on the firewall? Kevin

The seller of the '69 convertible is Hawks Corvettes in Scottsdale, AZ. I have been to Hawks restoration shop before. They do nice work. I do not think they would scam anyone.

Misrepresentation by silence IS scamming.

They are presenting this as "Only 85K Original Miles!" discussing the options it has but of course they don't know if it is an original BB car. Yeah suuure. They know darn well it was a green 6-cylinder car.

It appears to be nicely done but is is a clone. Why not state that instead of equivocating?

Nice verbage...
"I don't know if this a original big block car or not, but it is up to you to decide. It is a Norwood built car with the X-11 code on the trim tag."

Who is fooling who?

That's not the VIN, that's the style code on the trim tag. I wrote this just for you.
