wouldn't a square port hi po l72 engine have an aluminum intake from the factory.. says the original comes with the car and if that is it in front of the hood it looks like cast iron to me..

Sorry Kim... I meant L-72 not ZL1. I have an L-72 in my Corvette. Yes it has square port heads and yes it has an aluminum intake.

Apparently the gentleman selling this [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img] car didn't appreciate all of the friendly input he was getting from those "In the Know". [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif[/img]

He's added some commentary to the ad about what he wants to hear in the phone calls and the cars possible value, etc...

Marlin,I sent him a E-mail it stated "sorry they never made a 427 Nova from the factory" His answer, I quote " well your wrong this was dealer installed bb car . and weretrying right now to make outthe dealship that did this conversion . the car has a metal tag on the rear of the trunk lid from some performance dealership in oaklahoma so if your done being a di-- f--- you ashhole" his exact words I again sent him a e-mail very nice saying there are no factory 427 nova's and his answer "but i guess its easier for you to sys you stuid comment via email rather that in someone face chickens---!!
