Hi Joel,
I was reading through some old posts and came across this discussion on Turbo 400's with solid lifter big block cars. I sold a 69 L-89 Corvette with the Turbo 400 "CY" a few years ago and I've regretted it since. This combination was tremendous and the car was extremely quick even as I had the car bone stock. I'm very interested in getting one of these transmissions again. Could I please get you to send me the pictures of the differences in the "CY/CX's" versuses the standard Turbo 400's. My e-mail address is in my profile. Thanks a lot. Regards, Kevin C. |

Rick,
I was under the #49 car just last week and the cases are different than my "CY". I was surprised to find that myself. I was mostly interested in the tag and the numbers so I don't know if the photos will show much of the case. I'll bring them with me this week-end. I have plenty of shots for my "CY", but you probably have all you need of those. DC
