Never got a pic of the Trim tag . I also had asked him about the certification and who did it but he never answeered me back. Would also like to remind everyone that though I do not kow the true status of any of these types of cars, there was a blank POP that sold on E-bay this past summer Also there is always the blank GM tape that was used to attached the owners name on the POp on E-bay all the time also

The protecto plate shows it as a radio delete car. Most of the original protecto plates which I have seen, seem to have that Yellow/orange glue around the boarder of the plate itself.

POP shows original owner as Bill Porter in Maysville, KY. There are still a fair number of Porter kin in Maysville and it ain't that big a place. If someone really wanted to check out the car, a few well-placed phone calls could be a good investment.
PS: That cowl tag has just got to be the nicest condition one I've ever seen. |

I happen to notice that one of the cars in question, car with vin# 695386 appears to be a build date of 10A, the trim tag states its a 11A build date.I know that the body sequ.# on certain camaros appear to be of an earlier build date of the vin, but the trim tag will confirm that with the actual build date which should match the vin build date. Someone correct me on this please, Confused.

Most of the trim tags I've seen had the rivets punched thru and dum-dum sealing the holes. Not questioning this one but thats what I've seen. Anyone else ?

From what I have read on this site and learned from observation; D80 did not appear on tags until late May of 69. Am I misinformed about this? Regarding VIN's 695xxx would be a 10A car. 11A cars would be in the 710xxx range.
