I tend to agree with Wayne on the rudy red underbody color. I still haven't restored the underside of my car and it appears to be just primer. Also this primer was all over the interior of the car and the trunk divider board. I think both mine and the NNN giveaway car are early production cars though. Maybe they changed things? I have lots of pictures of this primer.

Ron,

Except for that little section in the pic above, I though the underside was gray. This summer I scrubbed the bottom completely with a light degreaser and a brass brush. Boy, now it is very obvious that it was red. Mine is a January build.
