Jeff and Terry are both great guys with incredible skills.

We are honored to have them as supporters of what we do at MCACN. Stay tuned to see what they are bringing to the show this year!

Is this an example of the one year only 1967 Chevelle Firestone tire but mine is a 7.75x14?

Attached is an example of the '67 only Firestone Super Sports Wide Oval I was referring to. Note how the stripe is out towards the tread and all the model and size markings are inside of the stripe, same as Jeff's spare.

I've got the number of how many of these were built. Anyone want to guess the number?

Would love to hear about the backstory and history of this incredible machine and maybe a pic or two before restoration perhaps?

Thanks for the kind words. I’m late to the party, and finally got a chance to post here!

I’ll post some more pics of the finished product first. Then a couple of it before the restoration. The before pics aren’t great as I was mainly taking close up detail pics of various parts rather than “big picture” shots. Unfortunately due to a computer crash with inadequate backup, I lost all the excellent pics from the 2016 ebay auction by the fellow I bought the car from.

Then I’ll post the “story”. Fair warning, I might brag a little about the truck!
