Default SS 427 / 425 Impala convertible

Beautiful car, and a great story. Why doesn't the Shipper document show L-72 437/425, just Z24 SS 427? Though LD on the protect-o plate is for an L-72 427/425 in a full-size Chevrolet in 1969 I believe. Not judging, just trying to learn how it was done back in the day.

Look at the order document from Wantz it clearly shows 425 HP

Wow, great score! That car reminds me of my car in high school... ‘cept mine only had a 327, auto, column shift, and was a Garnet Red hardtop. So close!
