Blue is darker..This ones actually better as it's Turquoise.

As far as odd combos go, I don't think this one is as odd as it initially appears.

It's been awhile since I've seen the Color Wheel, but I have worked with graphic designers and have a sensibility with color.

Gold seems to be a rather neutral color that matches a lot of things. For example, check out this Olds doc that shows gold to be a stripe choice available for Aegean Aqua.

I think red is another somewhat neutral color. Ever see a 1969 GTX? The lower-body stripes were only available in white or red. What about the 1971 GT-37 stripes? They were only available in red/black or red/white. Clearly, the designers felt either of these would match the color palette for 1971.

I think this Camaro would be easier to &quot;see&quot; in blue with a gold interior, but it stands out more the way it is.

It is a restored car - he had guts to go with the original colors.

Unlike another 68 - turquoise with turquoise bench seat, rare floor shift auto, documented. Restored (and didn't need it!) red, buckets, console, 4 speed. Guy said it was different and he didn't like that. Yup, now it is just like all the other cars...
