I had multiple calls by that evening from people who knew the builder and gave me contact info for him. I ended up finding the car in another state but have never been able to come to a reasonable price to get it.

Hopefully someone would remember your car and give you a few leads. It's wishful thinking but sometimes that is all we have. </div></div>
I have done this, may be time to try it again? Thank you. CL is how I found the 2 previous owners before the guy I got the car from. My best friend bought the car for me and let me pay him off since I did not have the funds (story of my life I would find out, lol). He put it in his name until I paid him. So his name is on my title from 79. I went several years not remembering the guy where I found the car and while at a car show, I met a long lost friend that knew both me and seller. He asked if I ever saw that guy. Bada-bing, i got a name. I contact the guy, after 30+ years and ask him if he knew who he got it from. Answer: no. I put CL ad and get a call from 2 owners prior to the guy that sold it to me. He could not remember who he got it from. He put me in touch with the guy he sold it to and he tells me who he sold it to which happened to be the guy I got it from (not including my buddy). Met up with those guys and they had pictures and ad in paper when he sold it.

Good question. I was wondering the same thing. I've got a couple special cars that I would love to know more owner history on.

Got this today.

Nikke, I am sorry to tell you that I am retiring from the AutoAncestry business and am only doing very limited work on some Corvettes. Bill Gould
