That is a great looking car. I don't think I've ever seen one in that color scheme - even back when they were new. Everybody I knew in high school bought a dark blue or black one.

I have a blue '78 Z28 with white interior 4 speed, 28k miles, not much interest in the $ 20k range even for a 4 speed car. I saw the red car at least a year ago for sale, not that many buyers for these cars.

It seems the T/A's are still grabbing the dough in this arena, and they made a million of them.I don't think low mileage examples are that rare honestly, seems like a bunch of them are always available. I had a 77 Z28, 4psd car that I put a Keith Black built small block in, what a fun car, thing handled great, probably some of the heaviest doors I ever closed!

LOL. That was the reason that my grandmother gave us her 75 Firebird with 38,000 miles. At 5 feet tall and 95 lbs. she could no longer pull the door closed, as it weighed more than she did. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img] |
