Thanks Kurt; will try to adjust them this weekend. Do I just loosen up the front U-bolts on each bar, or do I need to loosen up the J-bolts as well?

Front U bolt prevents bar from dropping too low and digging in the road when off throttle and braking.
J bolts are intended to prevent the perches from breaking off the axle tube. Neither should be usef to preload or tune the bars but it doesn't stop people from "tuning" with them. |
