40, with some culling of questionable cars. The two JL8 cars from Dale Chev [yellow/yellow RS & orange/orange X77] are not included. </div></div> Just looked at an old photo; orange JL8 was X33.

Bob,
You might want to check with Guy (JL8Z28) he has a nice Dusk Blue JL-8 Z. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: black69</div><div class="ubbcode-body">I just met a guy that bought a 69 JL8 car brand new (he is digging up pictures of it for me he has when it was new, said he paid 4500 for it). It had the cross ram on it. The car is gone (he sold it for $7K) years ago, but is there a registry for these JL8 cars? Was there 200 of them or 50 or so? He said it was orange with black stripes (chicago area car). -bob</div></div>

I talked to Wayne Guiinn who wrote a book on the JL8s and he said he thought that 150 were sold ,the brakes were $500 most people didn't want to spend that much. that was the cost of the Z28 option

Wayne told me the same thing. They didn't build that many 427/435 67 Vettes either but we all know someone that has one or two. Just sayin....
