The car was owned by Mark MaCartney in the 80s. Real good car then... Then my friend Ron had it, then Steve Sadlin. Finally Irwin Kros had it last I new...BKH

This car was on display at the Mecum Indy auction last weekend. I'll post some pictures of it when I get a chance. I believe I saw this car at Super Chevy Indy in 1982. It was one of several Yenkos there that year.

If this was the car Irwin Kros had I believe it was last restored by Corvette Country.

That would be the only 0104MN in the data base - anyone else have 0104MN assembly date on an OE?

Car was definitely restored by Bob Harris of Camaro Specialties while I worked there in '06. Irwin took his Corvettes elsewhere. I have a few pics of this car being assembled on my home computer. Unfortunately none of the stampings or dates, as of then I did not care about that stuff, just thought it was a pretty cool car. Bob would be the person to contact regarding any details pertaining to this car.

... I would think the auction listing would have noted that it was "original" drivetrain
( if it was ) ... rather then stating it this way...

"The drivetrain, composed of the L72 427/425 HP big block, Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt 4.10:1 Positraction rear end,

uses correct date-coded components throughout,

including the A.I.R. (Air Injection Reactor) smog control system."
