As long as we're on the subject of MN Yenko Chevelles, does anybody know where the yellow automatic that was in the Dakotas when new, painted Daytona Yellow for a period, then resided with Ron Normann for a few years, ended up after Ron? I helped Ron buy it from a friend in MN., and he is curious where it landed. He knew the car back when it was new.

I don't think there would be two, in the same color with the Camaro rear spoiler?

The car in the MCACN display is the same car that I took a picture of at the strip in or around 1978. I assumed it had been restored but evidently I may be wrong. Kinda wish they had left the Mopar scoop, chrome tubular grill and Cragers on the car.

The LB Yenko Chevelle with the spoiler was (hope still is) an unrestored car from the Otis Chandler collection. It was said to have had the Camaro spoiler and chrome racing mirror installed at Yenko as a customer request

Hi Mike.

I have seen Mark Rupp's SCW DY Yenko Chevelle. (not the one you are referring to)

I can look up the name of a FB friend who owns a DY Yenko Chevelle but it is a project, he has pictures of it crashed into something like a telephone pole in the 70's....(is this the one you are referring to?)

Ryan

The spoiler on the LB automatic Chevelle was added by the original owner. After he picked it up at Grossman.

Thanks Ryan, but this car was painted the correct yellow in the late 90s I believe. It was sold by Ron Normann to someone maybe 5-6 years ago.
