Thanks Sam. I built those stairs so we could get to the "junk" bay when the cars are parked in the garage

Mike Wilkinson's (DaJudge) post today reminded me that I am reconsidering epoxy painted floor for my shop. Can some mid-westeners with good/bad experiences with this stuff chime in and let me know your experiences (and secrets to success)?

Thanks!

There is a ton of information regarding floors/flooring on the Garage Journal. The folks on the site are very helpful and will give you some solid advice. The web site is listed below;

Thanks Cal. Been pouring over the GJ threads. Leaning toward Epoxy floor installed by pros with "lifetime" (as long as you own the garage) warranty. Any mid-west epoxy floor owners with feedback?

Thanks

P.S. I had my trusses re-engineered to accommodate a 4 post lift and bumped my ceiling up another 16".

I don't think you can go wrong with pro installed epoxy Sam.

Thanks, Strdragn, I'm in the process of changing the "junk" bay to a Harley bay

Sam, I'm in the Milwaukee area and CD Products out of Appelton, WI was recommended to me by my cousin who works for a semi truck dealer. Their shop floor had their coating on it for years and years without a problem. I've had one of their coatings down now for over 6 years with zero issues. I had brake fluid leaking on a stored car for about 6 months and it wiped right up, without damaging the coating.

CD Products

Jeff

Thanks all. I am scheduled to have epoxy paint applied by pros. Should have it done within the next couple of weeks. I am using Premier Garage at Mike G's recommendation. He has had good experience with it x2 (in desert AND mid-west conditions). I will report my findings..........
