Nice looking car! $16K was a really good buy in 1987.

The difference there is you're pairing up two option packages to reach that number (RT & SE). RT 440 4spd production was 916 units, a more apples to apples comparison.

Hemi. Now that's Rare with a total count of 59 with only 22 Four Speeds. </div></div>

Only happened once in 1970 for the Challenger. The 1970 Gran Coupe would have been a good comparison against the 70 Challenger S.E. R/T as they were both separate models but the Hemi was not offered in any Gran Coupe in 1970 as they were Barracuda's not Cuda's. At least Dodge offered a 1970 Challenger to be a R/T Coupe, R/T Convertible or a R/T S.E. 1970 Plymouth Only offered the Cuda' for there Coupe or Convertible but not the Gran Coupe.
