yes, other than to authenticate the ZL1 block as an original 1969 unit, I don't get involving Jerry MacNeish either. Maybe establishing a "real" value for insurance purposes?

For certain buyers/sellers, i think it gives them a peace of mind. Just like some people only buy used cars from a dealer because they feel they won't get screwed.

Any conclusions on the "experts" from this forum on the #27 69 Camaro ZL-1
where as I've alledged that the only born with (#27) piece on entire car is the VIN tag. Current EBAY seller in AZ told me that #27 has an original ZL-1 engine. Anyone here know what eng was used in the recreation/cloning of #27.
