You should have stopped and said Hi! (I probably didn't see you because I was wandering around with my son most of the time - the joy of having a car with old paint.)

I found the Formula on their website. Its the England export car that the dealer claims has factory 4.10s in it...and added T/A fender flares. That car just sold a month or two ago at another auction, didn't it?

Why is every car that I come across so far, white?

I just saw another white 1973 SD455 automatic listed in the November Mecum auction in southern California.

Thanks. I actually just found an 18,000 mile example here in NJ so I am quite happy now.

They only made 9 white 1973 Formulas of the 43 built. As for the 252 1973 SD T/As, yes, there are a lot since they only made them in white, red or green. (74's were white, red, or blue)

Here is the SD455 Registry which has the entire breakdown on the 73 Formulas on the first page: http://www.sd455registry.com/

P.S. the bird decal was an option on the T/A so you can't exactly delete it.

Kind of like saying my old 318 Satellite was a hemi delete.
