I’m selling one or both of these coupes as I need room for another car I bought over the weekend.
The first is one of the best 1967 435 coupes out there. All options on this car we’re factory installed and clearly documented on the original tank sticker. There is also a great picture of the owner on his wedding day in 1967 with the car. 435 Horsepower 427 Engine (L71), 4 Speed Transmission (M21), Side Dual Exhaust (N14), 3.70 Posi Traction Rear End (G81), Transistor Ignition (K66), Special Suspension (F41), 15 Inch Wheel Equipment (N89), Headrest Bench Seat (A82), Tinted Glass (A01), AM/FM Radio (U69), Whitewall Tires (P92). Marina blue lacquer exterior Bright blue headrest seats (also verified on the trim tag) 435 HP engine (original engine, never decked, tampered with or re-stamped) Side Dual Exhaust (NOS sidepipes used) 15 inch aluminum wheel equipment (all five are perfect and with the car along with the screwdriver) White side wall tires (all five Firestone tires are NOS, the spare has never been mounted) M21 transmission (original transmission with VIN) Posi axle 3.70 ratio (original rear) Transistor Ignition Heavy duty suspension (F41 shocks are correct part number, later dates) This car was in good original condition before it was restored by Nabers Motors. It was owned and finished out by Eddie Dolizel, Eddie owned a chain of tire dealerships in Houston and sorted out the car wonderfully. Carburetors, heads, glass, alternator, distributor, starter, seat belts, ect are correctly dated. Radiator cap, oil cap, gas cap, antenna are all beautiful original pieces. The car has a 5” binder full of owner history and receipts. Bloomington Gold and NCRS Top Flight $165,000 [email protected] 512-657-1989 1965 Corvette Coupe. Red with red and white interior. 300 four speed with M21 and 3.36 rear end. I bought this car from the original NCRS owner in 2006, sold it last year and bought it back again. The car has received the Bloomington Gold award and many NCRS Top Flight Awards. It has also received the NCRS Performance Verification award and the Duntov Award scoring at least 97% at a National NCRS event. The car was restored in the mid 80’s and has been driven about 6,000 since that time. The engine, transmission and rear end are original to the car. The original owner provided the window sticker, sales documents, copies of canceled checks and new dealer delivery paperwork with the car. He also provided pictures of the brand new car the day he brought it home. The car was ordered 12/31/64 from Tomkins Chevrolet in Eldon, MO (I have that document) when Ken was a senior in college. He moved to Louisiana in May of 1965 after graduation and the car has been in Louisiana and Texas most of its life. The items that are incorrect to the car are the windshield and a replacement carburetor; all other items are correct part number and date code for the car. This car is absolutely stunning with its red exterior and red and white interior. It is an older restoration and is a wonderful car to drive. I chose to put radial tires on the car since I enjoy driving it. $45,000, lots of Corvette for the money. [email protected] 512-657-1989 I'll post pictures later today. |
