1967 Corvette convertible. This is one of the most beautiful color combinations that Chevrolet built, black exterior with black and white interior, white stinger hood, whitewall tires and a white convertible top (black hardtop, too). This is a 427/390 HP motor with an M21 transmission and 3.36 rear gear.
The car was sold new at Ernest Allen Chevrolet in Fort Worth, TX and sold to the second owner in 1989 with the original title. The second owner sold it to me after 22 years of ownership.
The car was restored by Ken and Gary Nabers in 2002 and received a Bloomington Gold award that summer. It has received two NCRS Top Flight awards, one at the 2006 San Antonio Nationals. It has scored over 98% at all judging events.
The car has the original very clear tank sticker showing all colors and options and it has the original, unaltered engine, transmission and rear end. The front surround panel was replaced during the restoration with an NOS piece due to minor damage (I have great pictures from the original owner). The car was painted in original lacquer paint, but it did receive minor deductions for the paint being too nice. It has been driven about 300 miles since the restoration and it is still crisp. I have the car priced at $140,000. My pictures need to be downsized to be posted, I’m working on that.
