Phil,

Your seats will be top notch when our interior guy finishes them.
Are you missing the RH side "300 Deluxe" emblem?
If your not needing any paint repair I would take your car to a "Painless Dent Remover" to have the few small dents repaired. Get new tail pipes, the ones that tuck up under and are hidden for that sleeper look. I would not put "SS" exhaust tips on it. Remove those "Don Lightfoot" plastic cowl covers that never came on the car. Get new "Historic Plates" that read, "300 DX".
Hard to tell from the picture, but is the LH Side "Spear Molding" a bit bent up, you can have it staightened and polished.
Just a few items I see.... Love your 300 Deluxe Chevelle.

Now Dan, be nice my friend. We know they shouldn't be there, but I prefer the look - so there

Phil,
don't you already have a 300 deluxe post sedan with the same color combo? blue / white painted top?

Jim,

I do, literally identical cars (one post, one hard-top), paint, interior, engine, trans and ac.

I came across this car that someone already started to do what I had in mind. It isn't perfect, but very solid start to a good driver quality car. It can be driven and enjoyed right now.

My Dear Canadian Pal....I understand you like the look of those cowl covers....but they make the back of my hair stand up. Just my opinion.

Dan,

I like the license plate. I might have to go down that road.

I'm getting a little work done to the car soon and will get some of the cosmetics corrected. I'm very much looking forward to getting the seats back in the car (Thank you Dan). The rest of the interior is in very good condition, so that should be a quick fix. The missing 300 emblem is due to fender damage. Whoever fixed it, just ground down the studs, left them in the fender and mudded them over.

Bill, Thanks for the info regarding the 68 Q-jet set up. I should be safe just installing the 3/8" line. It hasn't starved for fuel with the 5/16" line, but then again, it really doesn't transition well from low rpm to high rpm, with that Edlebrock carb. I've been told that is common????

Anyway, thanks for all the input. I'll post a few pix after the fixes.

Phil Woj.
