This was my Uncle's dealership. He moved from Cleveland to Anderson, SC in the late 60's/early 70's. His slogan was "the dealership with the big heart!".

Do you know if he sponsored a 1963 Corvette N06 big tanker race car that his dealership sold in cleveland . If so driver name and details were raced etc

Produced on February 12, 1963, and delivered to Jim Connell Chevrolet in East Cleveland, Ohio, the car’s provenance is supported by voluminous documentation that encompasses ownership history back to 1967, copies of previous titles, vintage photographs from the 1960s, Bloomington Gold and NCRS certificates and judging sheets, owner’s manual packet, NCRS Shipping Data Report, Eric Gill’s 1988 appraisal, Auto Ancestry historical research and the Z06 Prove-It Report by David Burroughs, the founder of Bloomington Gold.

I believe the anderson dealership sold AND SPONSORED a hugger orange COPO in 69. I have photos and actually know the drivers daughter. Trying to find more info as to where it may have gone.
