Call Lakewood OR take the shield with you to a good hardware store and match it up. The one you showed me looks to be the type I ran in 1971 or earlier. That to me looked like the correct color.

Being a Lakewood, make sure you put an indicator on the back of the crankshaft flange and indicate the bellhousing. Those Lakewoods, are notorious for being pretty far 'out' from centerline.
