Here's how my (mostly) original paint red '67 Z-28 looked on the top of the firewall. This car was built 05A at the LOS plant.

Here how my gold NOR-built '67 Z-28 was masked off on the top of the cowl.

Sure looks to me like they were masked off as my 68 Z was.
