Lon, with all due respect, I don't feel a veteran is more entitled to justice than me - that wallet belongs to someone.

Speaking of this, a few years ago at Carlisle, my father and I walked up on a fanny pack with $8,000 cash in it.

if youre dumb enough to walk around with $8000 in a frigging fanny pack, you deserve to lose it.

I think Andy is merely suggesting that it's smarter to do something stupid with less money.

Sorry, but nobody deserves to lose $8000 no matter what.

Geez relax.

After going to Carlisle years ago and seeing a #'s 375 HP Camaro project w/all paperwork for sale, I drove back home 2 hours each way to get more money as the owner would not take a deposit. The car was sold when I returned. Since then, I always carry atleast 10,000 dollars when I go to Carlisle. I suspect many people are carrying even more. I paid over 7k twice at Carlisle just for a rare part. I don't see any other way to shop there. The vendors there do not accept checks...hehe

I see more & more ATM's pop up in rural swapmeet fields, and rightly because of this I guess.
