Bruce, I loved every minute of it. Maybe USC can talk to the schedulers and stop making any road trips to the NW.

I hated it...but oh well...

Oregon is a great team...and I had a bad feeling about this game anyways.

Half of the PAC 10 head coaches and offensive coaches were coaches with Pete Carroll in the past 6 years at USC before they landed their new gigs...

I have to root for USC...2 family members graduated from there...and they have been my favorite college team since I was really small. I had to put up with 10 years staight losing to Notre Dame and 11 years straight of losing to UCLA...so this is just a small bump in the road.

Next year, USC QB Barkley will be WAY better than he is now(and he ain't bad for a true freshman)

What would be cool is for USC to play a SEC team in one of the lesser bowls...Against SEC teams....USC does really well!

Carry on!

Bruce,

I grew up in Oregon and graduated from OSU so I root for OSU all the time and Oregon all the time except the last game of the year. I even root for USC when they are playing anyone out of the NW.

Barkley is scary good so we have to get our shots in now, and I'm hoping he goes to the NFL early.

SEC is hands down the toughest conference. Pac 10 is always hovering around as the #2 or #3 conference depending on the year. Pac 10 doesn't get any respect in the eastern half of the country, most of the games are after their bedtime and don't even make it in the sports section. Last year the Pac 10 was 5 and 0 when they went bowling, but the media hardly mentioned it.
