David:
My Z/28 could have spent some time in Illinois although I purchased it with an Indiana title (stating 43,000 actual miles) from a Mustang guy in Niles, Michigan. It was a running driving car but in need of alot of love. It has it's original engine and I found the date coded smog, the correct carburetors (I've been through 3), the original spare and a bunch of other parts from members on this site. I still have to deal with the front springs and interior. The interior is all original but the driver's seat is a little worn. Still looking for a nice original piece because I know if I start recovering the seats, I'll wind up doing the entire interior. Thanks for the comments from everybody! The only gas that's been in the Z since the engine was done is 110 Octane Sunoco. It's running 11:1 pistons on the stock 1178 crank and a Crane blueprinted cam. Ed ![]()
