Below are my comparisons with a few comments....Can somebody please caliper/measure front to rear on known OEM and known Repop.......although measuring in the installed position might be difficult...

You can clearly see the oval shaped die insert surrounding the part number and roll formed groove at the face near the OD on the originals which is absent on the repo version.

Typically, the originals are stamped so hard that the stamp can be seen from the back side. Not a clear stamp, just a deformation caused from the hard stamp.

You can buy this Ebay piece from Paul Baker, Goat Hill Classics for about $125.00.
I sold a real one on Ebay about six months ago. Think it sold in the $650-700 range, I can't remember. Some vendors are asking $900 for them. Jerry |

Paul Baker is a fellow I have purchased many parts from over the years. He is a good fellow and I like him, however, my opinion is, it is best to buy parts from him in transactions where you hand him the money and he hands you the part. Ordering from Goat Hill has the potential and the verified history of causing hard feelings from many buyers.

As previously stated, Paul Baker at Goat Hill Classics sells a nice reproduction pulley. Like many reproductions, it varies from the original configuration.
I have included PICS of an original front and back. One thing the reproduction lacks is the slight deformation the stamping causes on the back of an original. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Regards, Mark
