Awesome idea and incredible work, Al. I wonder why a ZL-1 never made it into a Chevelle, at least you get to experience it first hand now.

I can't believe how quick you turned this around, you just got this about a year ago if I recall. You should include a before picture in the thread.

I too wonder why not in a Chevelle..driven a ZL-1 powered camaro(mine)(not anymore)..and can see why they did that..but after driving this Chevelle for even just the little bit I have..this really had the potential to be a geat race car.

turnaround was very quick as the car really needed no panel reaplacement other than new fenders and a hood...adn I was on a mission to get it done
