![]() Obviously your accomplishments didn't go unnoticed to this Canadian lad and many more here...last I knew you were writing books and I think may have gotten into old Ferarris?. If it's not too much to ask and at all possible, I'm sure we'd all love to hear some stories or see any pics you may be able to share from back in the day?. Again welcome, it's really great to have you here!!! ![]() ![]() ~ Pete ![]() -------------------- I like real cars best...the REAL real ones! |

Hi Lance,
I also have a Benchmark 435 Roadster with 17k miles, completely untouched including original tires...Marlboro Maroon/ Black, 2 tops, BG Special Collection, BG, Triple Crown, etc...never advertised but I would sell it and keep the high mileage 18k mile car posted above ![]() Bottom line, I have 3 real '67 435 Roadsters, 2 are BG Benchmark survivor cars...want to keep 1 Benchmark and 1 BG restored car to drive so will sell 1 of the Benchmark cars. There are not better examples anywhere. If you want more info, drop me a line : [email protected] Regards, Colin |

Wally Booth got the 68 Camaro and then it went to someone in Ohio. Still missing after that...

Charlie,
Nope, it was sold to a friend of Wally's who lived in Rio Grande, Ohio. I dropped it there on my way back from the Gators in 1971. Don't know where it got to after that. Lance |

Lance [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the clarification! Anybody know if the convertible 1967 435 low mileage KY car with the bullet holes in the fender ever got fixed and resold?

------This must be the week that cars that I have a connection to are mentioned on the sight. This car came thru Classic Motors in 1978/79 era. We had it on the arm from the original owner (Bill Davis). I actually raced it against the the Bondurant race car (mentioned in another thread today) in front of Classic one night and whipped it. Bullet holes wernt in it then. They came after that when he took it back. Some guys got in an arguement in the bar across the street from Bills dealership and pulled thier guns out, old west style. They missed each other but wounded the Vette.
------I have lost track of the car and weather it got fixed or not........Bill S |

The former Roby price bullet car was sold to a collector several years ago. It still has the holes in it and is most definetly not for sale. Its a 7K mile red/black 435 conv. thats unresotred.
