Yea. thats the car. I have been working on it quite a bit.
The car cleaned up reeaallly well. Fixed all of the mechanical issues.Runs great. The whole deal. The car is a real treat. I will see what I can do to get to VF. One of the neatest unrestored cars I have had.

Tim,
That is a very cool Survivor Vette!! We did have it for sale. We also sold the other 1/2 of the Survivor Pair, of 1965 Fuelie Coupes, which came from Roy Sinor, to another member on this site.

Maybe we can see the Pair back together again, someday?

Do you mind telling where the other one went? I looked at both in St. Charles. Had a hard time making up my mind which I would go after. The red and white is what pushed me over the edge. Now, I'm having a ball with it! Looks like I will be at Chev VF

I'll let the new owner Chime in, but it is kept in a warm and Sunny location for most of the Year.

Tim, I am surprised to see your car on ebay. I hope that all is well, I was looking forward to seeing it at the VF. Good luck with the sale.

All is well. I am working on another car at the moment which I did not anticipate so soon. Not a fire sale by any means. If does not move, I guess I just have to keep it! I will be at VF although the car wont. The class was way over full. So....all I can do is look and
Thanks for you interest!!!

Thanks for understanding. We do not want to compromise the integrity of our Judging and Awards, so we have had to turn away many very beautiful cars, as the classes are full.

The quality of cars entered, especially the C1 and C2 Corvettes, Nova's, Camaro's and Chevelles is incredible.

I know one thing for sure...I am glad that I am not a Judge. These guys are going to have their hands full, especially when it comes to the Diamond and Top Gun awards.

My plan from here is this. If the car does not sell, I will be @ Bloomington Gold to have the car judged for "Survivor" as well as take a poke at Certification to see how far it goes. Furthermore, I'll get my dead ass in gear and get it registered for VF next year. Today, I came across some pretty neat stuff for the car. Back in the mid 90's, a man named Dennis Clark (past NCRS Judging Chairman), put together a presentation on what a NCRS Bowtie should be. Recently, I have had communication with Mr. Clark and he was kind enough to forward the whole 35mm silde presentation he used at the 1995 NCRS National Convention. I received it today. Tonite, I am going to take a good look at the sildes and According to Mr. Clark, the car (mine) was the inspiration to create the NCRS Bowtie Award program. So, I'm pretty wound up right now. If I did not have a shot at another car, E-bay thing would not be going on. I have one other car I may sell to my Father instead of my fuelie to finance my next venture. Now.....you are up to date! See ya @ VF
