This Cameo White 69 Trans Am RA IV, 223379N118175, was sold new at Parker Motor Co. in Tahlequah OK. This car still has its original drivetrain and PHS documents. There were only 55 RA IV Trans Ams built in '69 and this is 1 of 9 with the TH400. This car hammered for $325K. It previously sold at Mecum Indy in '22 for $350K.

I bought that 1969 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air IV automatic before it was restored Hickory North Carolina. [email protected]

when i was 15 years old i used to put groceries in this 69 ta. they knew it was a super rare car and as soon as i turned 16. i started driving my new 76 black ta and they tried to get me to trade them even for it. no way was i doing that and a few years later the car ended up on a little car lot in north tulsa. i tried to buy it but was about 250 apart and then it disappeared which it found its way to marty in north carolina. had another chance to buy it later when matt (auwrestling on here) called me and said i could get it for 150k. another stupid mistake by passing on it. it was always a numbers matching really nice original car with all the ram air on it when it left here.

also anyone know what page on this thread the pictures are posted?

This Brewster Green 73 Trans Am 455 SD, 2V87X3N138639, was sold new at Wilde Pontiac in Waukesha WI. There were only 282 Trans Ams built in '73 with the 455 SD and this is 1 of 72 equipped with a 4 speed. This car has PHS documents as well. It hammered for $260K.

This Cameo Ivory 74 Trans Am 455 SD, 2V87X4N140929, is an original drivetrain car with PHS documents. There were 943 Trans Ams built in '74 with the 455 SD and this is 1 of 212 equipped with a 4 speed. This car hammered for $140K.

This Buccaneer Red 74 Trans Am 455 SD, 2V87X4N129743, was sold new at Andy Klein Pontiac in Overland Park KS. This is an unrestored car with 12.7K miles. It is 1 of 731 Trans Ams built in 74 with the 455 SD and TH400. This car hammered for $100K.

This Go Mango 70 Coronet R/T convertible 440+6, WS27V0G212253, is 1 of 16 built. This car has a column shifted TorqueFlite and a 4.10 rear. It hammered for $165K.

I do think prices were down some but the good cars still seemed to bring good numbers. I thought the overall quality of the cars was down this year too.
