OK.............. So with the stock breather on, driving the water pump and fan and alternator., Fuel pump working, and mufflers in place....... Drum roll................ 384 horse @ 6400 rpm, and 374lb-ft. tourque. Stock GM camshaft and 12.3 compression.
I was fairly happy with that. First time I dyn'od a small bock. Baby steps for gains compared to a big block.
In coming air was 45 degrees F which did not hurt.

As far as the scattershield...., it was in the car, so we left it since we will race it. I do have the correct bell housing on the shelf, so maybe someday we will take that HEAVY thing out!

Very impressive! How did you end up with the 12.3 CR - or was that what the orig pistons worked out to be?? I should not have run the original TRW's..... Can't wait to see that Deuce go down the strip, I'm thinking 12.80's.

I was trying to find one of the scattershields as a neat Day 2 item for Benjamin's Nova - ended up buying a 621 at Carlisle. Let me know if you wanna work out a trade.
