... The traction bars are the older pre 71-72 units. Hard to find, have been looking for years.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have been trying to find out about those bars. Through researching this, I've come accross a picture Tommy posted with what looks like NMW bars.

Now I would love to see someone speculate since I can't seem to find anyone who knows for sure. What vintage are these bars? I'm in terested becasue my uncle has a set he may not be using. They also have some orange under black paint.

I wonder if the traction bars were an early design which they stopped making since Lakewood seeme to have so much of the market, or if they were made later. The catalog Tommy posted did not list the bars, and I think that was 1973.

This isn't my Nova although I did buy the bars and shock mount and rear end from Dan P. The picture of the box and the bars in the box are on Craigslist in L.A.

Hey RARE4K, those 20th Anniversary Cragar center caps and belt buckle look like the set that I E-Bayed just a few years ago! Where and how long have you had that set? I wonder if that's my old set?! I always regretted not actually using that Cragar Belt Buckle!
