I did the same thing when I Day2'd my COPO Camaro...although, I will have to say you have done a first, you made a Day2 clone out of true Day2 car...right Sammy?...ha....please note light-heartedness of context (inside joke)... </div></div> Right Fred, you are learning! Why add a set of dual quads and take the headers off. As "perfect" as that car was and as "perfect" all the original Day-2 parts were I think I would have chose a lesser version Yenko Deuce to do my custom 2014 additions to. 16 hp on the flowed exhaust manifolds? Whats that going to do for you. Going to see some track time? </div></div> Sammy, why the negative comments. Obviously the car was not "perfect" to him and he chose to customize it per his taste, not anyone elses. He owns the car and obviously has his own vision of what look he wants and configuration. Scott, you have a fantastic collection of cars and look forward to seeing you and your cars at MCACN.

It is your car & you are free to do anything to it you wish, but because you asked us for opinions,I have to agree with SC69Sam and others & wouldn't have done what you did. Yes you kept all the parts and it can be put back as it was when you bought it,but there are other cars you could've chosen better to do this on,not the Roof Deuce. The Roof Deuce was a special restored Day 2 car that was unique in it's own right & with widely known personal history.None of what you've done to it relates to it's history. Some might call what you did sacrilege, while others might applaud. I respectively think it's now a day too much car. |

Its all good guys, I am very happy with what how I have changed this car, all thoughts welcome, I didn't like the Day 2 parts that were on it, I was going to return it to completely stock, but decided to have some fun and enjoy the hobby. My CG Deuce will be restored to a very high stock level, as is my preference. See you all soon, and as you all will get to know, I respect everyone's opinion and have very thick skin.......... I have to I have a 14 and 7 year old daughter's

Wasn't the sacrilege done by restoring this car in the first place ? Isn't this the one that could have been left alone ? Why does anybody bitch about what is being done to it now ? All this stuff can be changed anytime anybody feels like it. Have fun .
