Made some more progress over the last couple weeks. Finished up the interior, put an oil and water temp gauge in, for the upcoming fire the new motor party!!
![]() I got the fenders out. They needed some work. I repainted all the areas where the bolts had scratched the paint. Then sanded and buffed out the paint on both fenders. ![]() ![]() I installed the wheel wells, before the fenders. ![]() Installing the fenders. I put an old sheet down to prevent scratching. Then when the fender is in place, I remove it. ![]() ![]() I took a ride to upstate NY to pick up the exhaust today. ![]() ![]() Here's a couple shots of the car as it is now. ![]() ![]() Next, I will get the exhaust installed, then the hood, and front bumper, headlight bezels, which I'm painting. I also will be sanding and buffing the doors and quarters, like I did with the fenders. Then it's time to fire the motor. If that goes well, the Nova's a finished project. |
