Let's take a poll

factory
or
drag

Either way that Nova's a winner...but if possible, shouldn't the L-88 be reunited w/ it's original '68 Vette first?.

And I may have missed it in the threads but is it known what the original engine was in the '67 Vette?.

I vote stock with a $5,000 smog system and dog dish caps. Hopefully the original Muncie shifter will at least shift into first and reverse so he can get it into the trailer and then to the show and then back home again. Then Johnny P. can cover it up in his garage till the next show. Stock with a Gardner exhaust!! and NONE of this

Light up your flaming arrows IMHO, unless the drag car has some sort of notoriety, ala record holder of some sort, famous owner, driver or tuner, it's just another driveway creation - and should be restored back to it's stock condition. How many people are going to ooooh & aaaah over an obnoxiously lettered up, hillbilly suspensioned, wanna be drag-star that nobody ever saw run?

Pure Stock is the Way to Rock! (That includes Whitewall tires!!)

Probably as many people that oooh & aaaah over a primer colored car with an anemic small block and skinny little "girlie man" tires.....

In a similar tone as Marlins,I say leave this one as is...for now.
Maybe have some 1/4 panel vinyl graphics made up saying "CHEVY II TUFF",that can be applied & removed at area shows around here and see if anybody is drawn to that name at first. If that stimulates a few stories/pictures/super 8 movies showing up,then turn it up full bore to it's racing glory.
If not, take it back to the assembly line.

There are a lot of 396/375 Novas out there and as cool as they are there are very few Novas with an L88 Novas with incredible stories!! Keep her as the special car that she is!!! It was installed at the dealership right?? Kind of a supercar of its own!!!
