Karen and I went for a ride to Lanark/Lake Carroll, IL to see if I would have any luck finding one of the previous owners of our Chevelle. I was elated to find Robert and Patti Chalupa were home. Bob bought the car in 1977. He and his wife were very happy to see the car. Bob was especially happy that I haven't altered the car, especially the paint! Patti brought out a few trophies that Bob had won at Great Lakes Dragway back in the late 80's and actually gave us one. What a great day!
