This Forest Green 70 Chevelle SS is a LS6 with a TH400 and 3.31 gears. It has a green bench seat interior with a column shift and was sold new at Dunlop Chevrolet in Macon GA. This is a highly documented, original drivetrain car with 15K miles. This car was sold as an unrestored car at the Mecum Indy Auction in '11, but was found to have been restored years earlier. It was restored again several years ago. C. Haubiel had this car at the show.

This car actually sold at the show and the new owner is expecting delivery today. When I took delivery of the car in 2012 it appeared to be unrestored but it actually had a full chassis restoration off the body as well as many cosmetic items restored so the then owner decided to fully restore it. It was scheduled to be in the 2015 LS6 Showcase but sadly the owner died the morning of the show. I was notified by his wife during the driver's meeting and the showcase was then dedicated to him. I was thrilled to finally have it back here and sent photos of the show to his widow yesterday. He was a great guy.

This Tuxedo Black 70 Chevelle SS is a LS6 with a M22 and 4.10 gears. It was sold new at Merollis Chevrolet in East Detroit MI and is a highly documented car with its original drivetrain. A. Ferguson had this car at the show.

I grew up 3 miles from Merollis Chevrolet. As a kid, I would hang out at a park where all the older guys would park their cars, drink beer and smoke.
There were always 2 black with white striped chevelles, all souped up with Cragers and big back tires. They were my favorite amongst the variety of muscle cars, although I did like a few of the mopars, most notably a 440 wedge Fury.
Anyway, I told myself one day I’ll have a black with white striped Chevelle. Came close a few times but it remains on the bucket list as an unchecked item.
Forgive the thread hijack but that picture took me back in time!! Love that car!

This 67 Camaro RS/SS convertible Indy Pace Car Replica is one of a handful built with the L78. It was built at the Van Nuys plant and sold new in WA. It was a drag car for many years. This was a Premier Unveiling car that was restored by Apex. P. Mitchell had it at the show. I believe he had four cars at the show and three of them were Premier Unveilings.

This Rallye Green 68 Camaro RS/SS is a L34 car with A/C and a TH400. There were only 2,579 Camaros built with the L34 in '68. This is an original drivetrain car that was restored by Customs by Kilkeary. T. Kilkeary had this car at the show.

Here's a picture of Doug Perry's Tuxedo Black 69 Camaro SS with a L78, M22 and 4.10 gears. It was sold new at Craig Ayers Chevrolet in Edmond OK. This car has 9.5K miles and is unrestored. It is documented with the original window sticker, POP and build sheet. He just recently purchased it from the original owner. It was in the Vintage Certification display and was up on a lift for most of the weekend. Luckily they took it off the lift late Sunday and I was able to take a photograph of it.

This Glacier Blue COPO Camaro is N663718 and was shipped to Bill Allen Chevrolet in Kansas City KS. It was then modified by Dick Harrell. This car has a column shifted TH400. It was at Mecum Indy in '21 but didn't sell. At that time it had a fresh paint job, but the rest of the car was kind of tired. It also had a totally incorrect drivetrain. Since then the rest of the car has been restored and I heard it now has a correct drivetrain. D. Albaugh had this car at the show.

Here's a better photograph of the 72 Motion Phase III Camaro that was at the show last year in the Day II display. It was originally a Z/28 that was upgraded with an aluminum head 454 and 4.10 gears by Motion.
