Yeah! Thanks a lot for sharing the pictures. It looked like a great event. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to attend the next one. Jesse

Alright so all you joke makers out there got a real laugh on my account with that Sopranos picture. Here's some actual proof that I have some connections in this town. Check out the muscle guarding my car. I believe apologies are in order.

Those 2 sausages didn't even give me one of those stupid Tandy Takes or whatever the hell they call them....the guy on the left kept talking about Tomato Pie which we later deciphered to be pizza...he kept mumbling about some joint in Philly with Tomato Pie....Colossomos Bakery or something...he kind of had a limp too..guy on the right was seen panhandling in McCormick Place so he could buy a pair of friggin socks.

And before I forget. I was sitting by my car and Frank comes walking up to me. He says "stick out your hand". I put my hand out and he gives me a keychain from the dealership where my car was sold new. He found it while walking thru the swaps so he bought it for me. I was beside myself. What a cool thing to do. Thanks a million Frank!

What an event. The Gibb Nova display, with Helen in the mix of things, was the hit of the show. 5 of the neatest cars you will ever see.

Mix in Caleb's and Guairse's racecars, Frankie with the only Yenko there, Frank's dad's late model Camaro, Bernard's COPO, the pair of Zs, and of course the Z-16 display.

But the best part? Hanging with other sYc members.

For got to mention that a few celebrities from the club stopped by to chat. Tom Stephani, the old man himself Ken Barnhart, Belair and Rich Gregory.

I had a great time at the show this year. Was able to spend a lot of time visiting with people like Mrs. Gibb, Tommy K, Annie Hartweg, Mr. Clary, Stefano and finally had some BS time with my man PA Sammy!

Over all I am very optimistic about the new owners of Vette Fest. I feel that they have some good things in store for the show and they were VERY acomodating to the club.

Did they still have hair pieces and "other" trinkits for sale at the show?...
