I had an opportunity to meet the trio of Deuce owner that day. The weather was beautiful as well as the cars. Marlin had mentioned that this may have been the first time two GB Deuces have been photographed together. All three were in fine tune just waiting to light their tires up. As always Marlin graciously put together and presented the owners with notebooks full of information pertaining to the Yenko Deuce. This was quite an interesting group, who had smiles on their faces the whole day.

Steve

What a great sight.
OK, I guess that I will be the first to ask - In the 'rear' shot of the cars, why does the Deuce on the right have the stripes stop short?

The owner when he repainted the car and restriped it, like that look, although that is incorrect.

Steve is correct, the owner decided that he liked the stripes better if they stopped at the decklid, simple as that! The owner bought the car in '74 +/- at age 18, and has absolutely no wish to ever sell the car. He has two sons, who also thoroughly enjoy the car, and I'm sure it will be passed down to them.

An interesting item on the gobi beige a/t deuce. Several years ago the someone tried to give the left front centercap a real good cleaning. In the process they rubbed off a good portion of the 'Y', allowing the Magnum 500 insert to show through. Pic coming soon
