Let me say Thank You to Brian and Bob and everyone that had a hand in the Yenko display! I had a great time, met more new people, caught up with old friends and gathered new info (I know a lot more about Stingers now). I was out there 4 days and it felt like 1, went by way too fast. Rick and Anne were great hosts, again, and I want to thank them for making it possible for the Camaro to be there. Eddie, thanks for letting me park in the vicinity of your awesome car :-) , it was fun. I think the setup and breakdown was icing on the cake, just listening and smelling the fumes as the cars are coming in and leaving, priceless.

I appreciate the fact that Brian and Joey asked for our help and participation. We did very little compared to all the others that also helped especially Jeff Murphy. His plans were the best ever and well organized though I need to get better at my math before I can help him again..... The best was when we were able to meet Mark Gillespie and Warren Dernoshek at the same show. Great guys and even better stories. We were also honored to be displayed along with Eddie's car. Stunning.

What was the final Yenko count at the event?
Any other interesting trivia to rattle off, i.e. 6 out of the 8 Trans Am ragtops? (Where was #7 that didn't show up? Was that the Vegas car?) |

Send me your email address and I can send you a PDF of the final layout of the cars including their colors and owners. The two Novas were both unconverted cars. The correct color is Nutmeg Brown Firemist Metallic (code 97) RPO on 1969 Cadillac only, special ordered by original owner for this car. We call her Nutmeg for short.

Las Vegas car was a no show even though I was assured it would be there.

Additional question for the Chevy-inclined: What was the deal with the two Yenko Novas? One was bronze/brown and the other was red. Were they cars never converted to 427s?
