The Orange Hounds Tooth was a standard feature or RPO code for a Z10 or Z11 however the interior itself could be ordered with any exterior colour.

I'm confused, so I'll rephrase:

Was the orange houndstooth normally available on cars other than the Z11/Z10 cars? Or did it have to be a special-ordered car if you wanted that interior? I know white, black, and yellow houndstooth were regularly available, but I've had the impression it was Z11/Z10-only. I could be wrong, though.

Good evening Bob,
Thank you very much, it was a pleasure meeting you as well. I quite enjoyed spending time with you and Fred both. The cars were exceptional and I can hardly wait to see the Rally Green car! I will once again be in the front building but this year has a bit of a twist. I will be showing my 1970 Plymouth Cuda, not a Camaro. Please search me out and I will do the same for you. I am going to be in and out as I have four children in hockey and all in in their respective playoffs. If you wish Bob PM me and I will forward my personal cell.
Thanks,
Richard.

Checked the CRG site and they mention that White and Black cars have been found with the Orange houndstooth but it was mostly intended for the Orange cars. I beleive that no Z10 has been found with this interior (last that I heard). I had a Hugger Orange/Black vinyl top Z/28 that also had the Orange houndstooth.

Hey Bill, do you still have your Hugger Orange car with Orange Hounds Tooth Interior? To the best of our knowledge my Canadian documented car is the only Tuxedo Black 1969 Z/28 produced with Orange Hounds Tooth Interior. There are some other cars found with the orange interior but no other black Z/28's. My car is also an original ZL2 special ducted hood car with white stripes. My interior including door panels are 100% original and unrestored. I love the car and wish I still had my 1969 Pace car which now resides somewhere south of the border! Thanks for letting me share guys!!!
Richard.

Hello Richard do you still have the Triple Black Z I sold you a couple years back. That was a bit of a rare car with power windows and the ZL-2 hood from the factory.

Hello Paul,
I have never owned a triple black Z/28. You must be referring to a friend of mine, although there is no question a triple black Z/28 is rare and desirable!
Richard.

I have seen 4 or 5 original Z10 cars, none with orange interior. Have seen two SS coupes, hugger orange exterior, with orange houndstooth interior.
