Krimes Automotive up in Ephrata. Ron is an old school BB Chevy racer. I won't be racing this car - but if Ron builds it - it will hunt! Also has a state of the art dyno at his shop. He only took my engine to 6000rpm on test. It registered 457hp - still pulling hard when he shut it down. He got 474hp out of the motor in my green copo, but it was +.030. I've heard of these 427s getting higher hp on dyno, but Ron's machine is new and certified for accuracy.

Yeah - those 427 big blocks pull really hard. The one in my clone has a very mild cam, stock intake, carb, ignition and still pulled 474hp 497tq at only 10:1 compression. It runs great on pump gas, still idles and snaps your neck back when you stomp on it.

The car is almost complete. Just finishing up a few interior things and waiting for the pin stripes. A couple of pics below:

Looking real nice Bruce . Love the RS on a BB colored '69. Now don't go scarin' those Amish horses pullin' the buggies with that nasty rat motor!
