Had a great chat with another 69 Olds guy last night.

Chris Thibert, he owns the Brown, gold, green 69 W-32 Convertible:-)

He has a non finned brake drum to add to the restoration, I want to get it blasted and powdercoated now as a spare:-)

Sketches? whatever it takes ... that's the kind of stuff you refer back to when the project is done and say to yourself "WOW -- we made it!" TAZ

Are you replacing the ball joints or saving them? Nothing wrong with sketches.. Hell I use AutoCAD all the time when I fab something up just to make sure I have no interference issues.. Keep up the great work!

Take a screw driver, pry out some of the bushing rubber. Take a torch, light the rubber on fire, wait a bit, take same screw driver and tear out the remaining rubber, crush the side of the metal sleeve with a chisel, sleeve will fall out. Repeat on next bushing.

Google it. Easiest way to get them out without damaging the arms. The heat will separate the rubber from the shell. With a little effort you can push out the rubber and bolt sleeve leaving the shell. Crush shell, and it will drop out.
