Got car around 4:00 yesterday Dirty, grease all over it, battery dead, wires to the switch to release the trunk were cut. 90 miles on car since loaded in Cal. Not happy!!! Got trunk open. Charged bat for a hour still wouldn't turn over. Pulled bat bought new one, car started fine. Runs like a Swiss watch. Wife and I drove all over for three hours last night dropped her off went to buddy's garage drank beer until midnight, drove home sh#t faced. Too sick to reply until now!!! Thanks Guys for all your help. Kim

I tell ya Kim, I would have been pissed off as well! No excuse to receive a car in that condition. What was the driver's excuse why it had 90 miles on it since it was loaded, and the reason why the wires for the trunk were cut?

Glad you finally have it in your possession. Fonzie will be happy!

Now are you going to call your lawyers??? To protect yourself I would be doing that now. Why do you ask? Because you dont know what went on during those 90 miles. Hypothetically speaking, what if the driver used it to rob a 7-11, kidnap the storeclerk, and dumped the body somewhere and he had trouble getting it out of the trunk, thats why the wires were cut? (I know I'm overreacting, but I'm a lawyer so humor me). They owe you big time for the damages they caused and the mileage on the car.

In my paranioc rant I forgot to mention: what about the yet-to-be-discovered internal engine damage you now have from their 90 mile road trip?

I know, I'm a real buzz-kill, but we all have to excel at something!

Kim,

All ribbing aside, were all glad the car finally got to you. Do what you have to and enjoy the car. Neat piece of history.

Same here, Kim. Glad you finally have it home.

But I'm serious about the pix with you and the wife; let's see some shots of you enjoying the car.
