Maybe should be in barnfinds category, but could not find the thread here....anyway, I went to do a lot survey on a property a few weeks ago in Hopewell Nj that had just an old barn on the property..it was almost falling over...outside sat three Camaros..a 69 vert..a 68 RS vert and a 69 coupe...unfortunately, all pretty much rustbuckets. The owner is willing to sell them but he thinks they are gold I guess. I asked if he had any other parts and he told me no, but his friend has some NOS 69 quarters that he would sell. So he called his friend for me and I drove right over there about 5 mins away and this 72 year old fellow took me in his building where he has over 100 cars...I think the newest car in there was probably the original paint black 58 Chevy with the tripower...and I could not believe the parts this guy has...and every single part is labeled and organized...he really has mostly 40's and 50'd stuff...but imagine, he has 1200 windshields...so many fenders, bumpers, wheels, hubcaps...literally thousands and thousands of parts...I was astonished..a bunch of flathead motors...and I barely got to see anything....Wowwwww..i could not believe these guys are still around...
I did get a great deal on the 69 quarters for my Indy....and I am going back because he has a 454 4 bolt engine that was really buried that he is going to pull out for me to see..I am in brazil right now, but when I get back in the states if he lets me, I will take some pictures... just goes to show..they are still out there...these old time hoarders...keep on looking !!! |

A member on the H-body forum bought this 65 Chevelle. He said it has been sitting in a building, on a farm, for the last 30 years.
Not sure if he added the wheels and tires to move the car.
