Yes I was told about that car by another member last weekend. I was told it was for sale for 125K. Spoke to the owner last night and was quoted 210K. It is missing the vin tag in the dash because it was stolen when it was about a year old. It has a Tenn state assigned vin with the same vin on a tag next to the Yenko tag. Also has a 160 speedo not the Yenko 9737 140 unit. Nice project but.....

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] how bout some close ups of the firewall hole for the cowl plenum air cleaner. inside and out if possible since they were said to be dealer installed and from ones I have seen, they were done differently across the states [/ QUOTE ] Not trying to hijack, just answering a question. Here is a picture of my cowl hole. Not cut out very pretty. I am not sure exactly where the car was bought, but it spent the majority of its life in MN. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] This cowl plenum hole was cut out very nicely. [/ QUOTE ] Mine is a Cali 68 RS/Z and you can see it is very similar to Charlie's; cut further down just slightly past the firewall seam to the floor of the cowl area. This car has been down since '79-80 timeframe. Interesting stuff. ![]() Nice find by the way. Later, Darrell |
