Interesting 69 Malibu in the above photo. Two tone paint (notice the hood) or maybe even woodgrain applique and with Rally wheels as well. That movie was released in 1968 and the license plates are 1969 models so likely this car was brand new at the time. Wonder if it was a unique dealer model. Looks like a 68 or 69 Javelin as well.

I had a blue 69 (in the 80's)with the silver paint on the bottom like that. Don't know if it was orig. I don't see any wood grain??!! |

Must be the way the light was reflecting off the tops of the fenders/quarters. Looked like it had a woodgrain center and light yellow on bottom. My error.
